The Wild Mushroom Café is a vegan catering company dedicated to providing health conscious, sustainable, and accessible
vegan cuisine to the
minds, bodies, and
spirits of humans everywhere. Our company was established January 2020 inside the now closed 777 International Mall in Downtown Miami. As a frequent visitor of 777, Christopher Hurst, musician & chef, saw a need for on site food service when a friend and tenant of the mall mentioned “walking to Subway” to get their lunch one day.
This felt unacceptable considering they were both standing next to a mall concession area that just needed a little TLC.
Chris gathered his team with one goal in mind:
fill the void with delicious food everybody could enjoy.
& so, on a road trip to North Florida,
The Wild Mushroom Café concept was born.
A vegan catering company & pop up kitchen inspired by both modern and classic cuisine, melded with an experimental sensibility that
brings a fresh set of pupils to plant-based cooking.
